Simple Smoked Paprika Salmon

This recipe is packed with protein, iron, and flavor! The paprika enhances the texture and natural flavor of the salmon without over powering it, and it's a lot less fatty than the usual sage and butter sauce pairing for salmon. 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 

1 teaspoon kosher salt 

1 teaspoon garlic powder 

1 tablespoon smoked paprika 

4 salmon fillets 


Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Mix the olive oil, salt, garlic powder, and smoked paprika in a bowl.  

Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish, skin side down. Brush on both sides with the wet mixture and bake until cooked through, about 25 minutes if cooking from frozen, 15 minutes if cooking fresh fillets. 

Place a fork in a fillet to test tenderness. Serve fillets with your choice of green vegetable and starch, then enjoy!
